** Pressing down while using X+A (or RT) worked for Maka as well. The brand new fighting game comes packing pretty much all of the modes and features you'd expect in 2019 including Practice, online multiplayer, story mode, versus, survival, time trial and more. *RT also works as X+A according to Slim Panatella. I came back the next day and dominated getting almost 70k doing the same method above. I failed several times and gave up for the day. The AI can get cheap after the 3rd battle and become super difficult to beat(at least for me). I think destroying the breakable objects in the levels give you a little bonus as well. I got a couple perfects and also got the little bonuses the enemies drop when you defeat them. Luckily the enemies randomize every time you play the mode.

Don't forget to block their projectile attacks as well.
If they get close hold Back to block their incoming attacks then start spamming X+A or (RT) again. Try to keep the enemy at a distance from you. Use the X+A or (RT) (press them together at the same time) attack non stop. He is the huge dude with the chain and blade.
